Meat & Fish Direct Ltd is the registered company that trades under the name Meat Direct.

Terms and conditions

Meat Direct endeavours to provide you with the highest quality of product and service. If your order does not arrive on your expected delivery date please contact us immediately so that we can track it.

The buyer is responsible for choosing the correct shipping zone for deliveries at checkout.

Payments

Payment by direct credit must be made prior to your order being dispatched.

Bank transfer: Make your payment directly into our bank account. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order won’t be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.

If your order includes a ham or salmon where we need to weigh the product before confirming the price, we will email you the price and payment must be received within 3 working days of your order being sent.

Once payment has been made, an order cannot be cancelled.

Returns and refunds policy

If you are not happy with your product once you receive it please contact us within 24 hours so that we can remedy any concerns you may have. After discussing your concerns if you are still not happy with your product we will replace the product or credit your account. No refunds will be issued.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to replace or credit any products 7 days after they are dispatched.

Disclaimer

By your use of the Meat Direct website, you agree that you are using the website solely at your own risk and Meat Direct is not liable to you, or anybody else, for any punitive damages resulting from your access, or inability to access, this website.

Pricing

All prices quoted on www.meatdirect.co.nz are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and any charges you make to your credit or debit card will be in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

All prices on our website are inclusive of GST.

Meat Direct is committed to providing you with the best and freshest product possible as well as up-to-date and accurate information. We are also committed to protecting your privacy.

We will not collect any information about individuals, except where it is specifically and knowingly provided by them. The information collected will be used to ensure your products reach you at the right place and at the appropriate time. We will not share or sell any information about our individual customers. You can unsubscribe to our weekly specials, and monthly newsletters sent by email at any time.

Meat Direct cares for your privacy and security during your internet shopping experience. Our site is powered by BTD’s Online Shopping product with integrated ETSL PayMark credit card system from Paystation. This means that when you enter your credit card details the servers and your PC encrypt (scramble) everything. Because it is encrypted, other computers are unable to make sense of it, therefore keeping this information private.

Vouchers and coupons policy

To redeem a voucher please place your order and type in the coupon code at the check-out. The value of your voucher will be deducted from your order. Unless stated, vouchers must be used in a single order before the expiry date. Vouchers are not to be exchanged for cash and no change will be given.

The value of your voucher or coupon will be deducted from your. Any relevant freight charges are additional and need to be paid at the time of ordering.

Delivery is free to a business address in the Wellington CBD with an order of more than $20. To other areas a delivery fee will apply and will either be deducted when you redeem the coupon or the fee will need to be paid separately.

If the value of your purchase is over the value of the coupon, you will need to pay the difference either by credit card or direct credit at the checkout.
